Oh Baby, a startup that produces locally sourced baby food, has undergone a lot of changes in the past year that allowed founder Fran Free to answer the classic startup Catch-22. When Free no longer had personal funding to put into the company and couldn't take more clients without expanding she found an investor, which allowed her to increase production by entering into a contract with a manufacturer. Oh Baby products are now available in several locations, and Free plans to present the line to Whole Foods' Southwest regional buying team once there is sufficient sales data.
