Jeans were designed to withstand the strains of horseback riding, but these days people are more likely to hop on a bike. Levi's is adjusting to that reality with a new product line targeted at cyclists, complete with reinforced denim, reflective cuffs, rainproofing and a pocket for bike locks. "By marketing cycling-specific clothes to a greater audience, [Levi's] indirectly encourages folks to take to the road on a bike. That's sustainable, green thinking all around," writes Nick Aster.
