Pittsburgh's A+ Schools program, which supports the city's public schools, is gathering input from teachers on how education policies are trickling down to the classroom. As part of its School Works research initiative, the group will interview about 10% of middle- and high-school teachers on subjects ranging from professional development to best strategies for creating a positive classroom environment for students. School Works previously has focused on input from principals and guidance counselors.
