Although salespeople for small businesses usually don't have access to large expense accounts, or a widely recognized product to pitch, they do have a leg up in some respects, writes sales expert Geoffrey James. To leverage these advantages, a small-business sales professional should never apologize for the company's small size and should always remain aware that credibility will have to come from personal image rather than the company's.
