Seguin High School in Texas this year is launching a new program to help students with autism learn vocational and life skills. "I think some parents of children with autism or other special needs can get too busy with the day-to-day routine and trying to get their child educated, that they don't stop to make sure they've received life skills that will allow them to function on their own," Christina Barton, president of the school's Autism Support Group, said. "This is a program that will help instill those abilities before they graduate."
