U.S. manufacturers have been using propane-powered forklifts for years because of their performance and sustainability. More than 600,000 propane-fueled forklifts are being used in warehouses, factories and manufacturing facilities across the U.S., according to the Propane Education & Research Council. Aside from easy refueling, propane forklifts are also environmentally friendly and cost-efficient as they passed the environmental standards set by the Clean Air Act of 1990, qualifying them for various rebates and federal tax incentives.
