The Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission will allow 11 natural gas drilling firms to not disclose the identities of 146 chemicals used for hydraulic fracturing since rules on fracking-chemicals disclosure became effective one year ago, said Tom Doll, the commission's supervisor. About 37% of such chemicals are tracers for fracking fluids, while 50% are included in mixes that are used to fracture shale formations, Doll added.
