U.S. consumers eat lunch at a restaurant an average of 2.6 times per week, more than the 1.4 times they enjoy a sit-down restaurant dinner, according to a survey from LivingSocial. New York City's restaurant scene ranked as the best while Detroit's came in last, and Thai was the cuisine most respondents reported trying recently for the first time.
