AT&T is gearing up to launch the HTC Holiday, a Long-Term Evolution-based smartphone, and early reports suggest LTE service is being well-received. The news of the handset launch comes on the heels of the carrier's introduction of LTE service in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, Texas. The service, which the company expects to have rolled out in 15 markets by year's end, costs $50 a month for 5 gigabytes of data.
