The bankruptcy of solar panel-maker Solyndra, which had received about $527 million in federal loan guarantees, could weaken support for the government's renewable-energy initiatives such as the loan-guarantee program, analysts said. Wind-energy developers, however, are not very concerned about the loan-guarantee program's closure because few wind projects have benefited from it, said Rob Gramlich, senior vice president of public policy for the American Wind Energy Association.
