Boeing executives are optimistic that revenue for each new 787 Dreamliner will begin exceeding expenses toward the end of the decade as the company plans to ramp up production of the new planes. Jim Albaugh, CEO at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, said the company plans to increase Dreamliner output from about two per month now to 3.5 per month by early spring. "We have two more challenges in front of us," he said. "One is getting up [the production rate] and the next one is being profitable."
