Hotels' revenue per available room will grow by 7.2% this year, boosted by demand from affluent travelers, PKF Hospitality Research says. The research firm raised its forecast from 6.9% reported in June. "After a thorough analysis of the latest lodging performance and economic data, it is tough not to be optimistic regarding the future of U.S. hotels," said Mark Woodworth, president of PKF.
