LightSquared said Sunday that it would launch a major public relations offensive in today's U.S. newspapers, buying ads in which the company will make a policy case for development of its proposed national wireless network. The company, whose Federal Communications Commission application remains in limbo pending a review over GPS interference concerns, said it would write an open letter detailing how LightSquared can play a key role in averting the expected bandwidth crisis.
