Lufthansa Group has agreed to buy a dozen new planes: seven from Airbus and five from Embraer. The Airbus order, which includes two A380s, will go to Lufthansa's subsidiary LH German Airlines. "It is the latest step in our ongoing strategy of deploying a modern fleet in terms of fuel efficiency, operating costs, noise and emissions," said Lufthansa Group CEO Christoph Franz.
