Mayo Clinic psychologist Matthew Clark says wellness programs should ask employees about their stress level because a survey of more than 13,000 clinic employees found 2,100 ranked theirs at 3 or below on a scale where 1 was the worst and 10 was the best. Data from those high-stressed employees showed they were more tired and more likely to have high blood pressure, high blood sugar, high cholesterol and obesity than their less-stressed counterparts.
