Investigations of last month's propane-tanker fire in Lincoln, Calif., are still under way, and city and fire officials said they are waiting for the results of the probe before deciding what measures to take to prevent a similar incident from happening. City officials are considering implementing several steps such as relocating the propane storage yard or building a berm around it. Meanwhile, the city "will continue to work with Heritage Propane to make sure they are safely operating and then act on any findings of the report," said Jim Estep, city manager.
