A new school program for children with autism run by a hospital in Connellsville, Pa., is the third such program to be modeled after the Autism Center at the Cleveland Clinic and the first of its kind in the Pittsburgh area. The hospital chose to open such a program after parents expressed frustration with the dearth of local programs available for children with autism. The school's curriculum will be taught using applied behavioral analysis.
