The retail sector is taking a renewed interest in RFID, however, using the tags to track inventory and other accessories. "Material handlers and manufacturers have begun to recognise this mandate from retailers, and have adopted RFID for best practice purposes, which in turn allows for supply chain visibility," said Zebra Technologies' Matt Parker.
