The Atlanta Regional Commission has created a list of more than 100 projects worth about $6.14 billion that it hopes can be worked on over the next decade. The plan will be put to a vote in a referendum next year. If approved, highway interchanges would be rebuilt, intersections fixed and roads widened. Forty-eight percent of the funds will go to road work, with the remaining 52% to mass transit. A 1% sales tax for 10 years would be used to fund the projects.
