The Minnesota Vikings should think twice about building a new stadium and look at the renovation done at the BC Stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia, writes Brian Johnson. The renovation of the stadium and addition of a retractable roof cost $563 million. That is about half the cost of the Vikings' proposed stadium, which is tagged at $1.1 billion. In addition, "revitalization of the existing stadium saves natural resources, including the raw materials, energy and water resources required to build a new facility," says BC Pavilion.
