The University of South Florida Polytechnic could be getting a new campus -- one designed by Santiago Calatrava, architect of the new transit hub at the World Trade Center. The Science and Technology Center is expected to be the signature structure, a building of concrete, steel and glass that could be almost "two football fields long and two stories high," with an atrium and "overhead 'wings,' up to 100 feet long, [that] will open and close as the sun moves through the sky."
