General Electric has released a survey that found more than half of small and midsize companies in the U.S. are looking to add jobs and predicting growth in revenue. However, while the survey respondents -- chief financial officers from hundreds of companies -- are optimistic about their own growth, they are concerned about the broader economy. "The CFOs have felt pretty good about their own companies, and then as you start moving up the economic landscape to the U.S. and global economy, the view shifts," said Dan Henson of GE Capital.
