A study found that female entrepreneurs are willing to risk everything they have to achieve success, writes Margaret Heffernan. "These women entrepreneurs did business as if their lives depended on [it] -- because their lives did depend on it," Heffernan writes. Unlike executives at large corporations that have taken huge gambles -- and were then bailed out -- these "successful entrepreneurs ... while they took huge risks, they had no intrinsic love of danger," she writes.
