Japan will work hard to improve nuclear safety measures in the aftermath of the Fukushima Daiichi incident, Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda said. "Japan will share with the international community, with the maximum transparency, all the lessons to be learned from the [Fukushima] accident ... and is determined to raise the safety of nuclear power generation to the highest level in the world," Noda said at a conference in California.
