The H3N2 swine-origin influenza strain, which sickened three children in Pennsylvania and one in Indiana this year, has been confirmed in a child in Maine, health officials said. All of the children were either exposed to pigs or someone who had had contact with pigs. The H3N2 strain contains a gene from the H1N1 strain that resulted in a pandemic in 2009.
