Google will not "play favorites" among manufacturers of Android devices after it purchases Motorola Mobility, Chairman Eric Schmidt pledged in an interview. "We need strong, hard competition among all the Android players," he said in asserting that Google would never tinker with the "dynamics" of the Android pipeline.
