The Obama administration asked the Supreme Court to disregard two issues that 26 states raised against the Affordable Care Act -- Medicaid expansion and penalties for governments and businesses that do not properly provide health insurance opportunities. U.S. Solicitor General Donald Verrilli said such issues are not worthy of review by the court, asking instead that the justices focus on the constitutionality of the individual mandate to purchase health insurance.
