Fliers on American Airlines likely will not see many changes stemming from the Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing of the carrier's parent company, AMR. Flights will continue -- although they likely will be fewer as the company downsizes -- reservations will still be accepted, and frequent-flier programs will stay in place.
