Disputes between students on Facebook are spilling over into real fights on campus, say administrators at Freedom High School in Oakley, Calif., who are working to address a problem that is being mirrored in schools across the country. While social-networking sites are blocked on many school campuses, students can easily access the digital tools on cellphones. "Teens have been fighting since the Stone Age, so to speak, but social networking gives them a different audience," said Elizabeth Dowdell, an associate professor at Villanova University.
