Only 3% of employers have mobile applications for job seekers and 7% have a mobile version of their jobs website, while about one-fifth of job seekers use mobile devices to aid their search, and more than half are open to the possibility of using a mobile app, according to a study by recruiting research firm Potentialpark. Job seekers would like their mobile devices to alert them to open positions, and help them track their application status, the survey indicates.
