Despite record-high levels of global vaccination in 2010, approximately 19.3 million children did not receive some or all childhood immunizations, CDC officials said. In the agency's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, researchers reported that about 109.4 million babies, or about 85%, were given at least three doses of diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, which was the highest number ever recorded.
