New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has announced the state's $27 million plan to redevelop the former Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital in Morris County, N.J., into a 165-acre park. The "neo-Gothic building was the largest poured-concrete structure" in the country prior to the building of the Pentagon. The building will be preserved, and income-generating ideas for it will be looked into. Environmental assessment work is ongoing and may be finished by 2012.
