The number of QR codes appearing in the top 100 U.S. magazines by circulation is climbing sharply, from 88 in January to 507 in September, according to a Nellymoser survey. The survey also found that advertisers are leading the way in code usage, with 6.52% of ad pages in August issues including codes and only 25 out of the 507 code appearances in September occurring in editorial content.
