U.S. rail shipments and intermodal volume climbed 1.1% and 3%, respectively, year-on-year during the week ending Nov. 19, according to the Association of American Railroads. Among the 20 carload categories, 11 registered growth. Meanwhile, Canadian carloads rose 0.4% in the same period, while Mexico's jumped 12.3% versus year-ago levels.
