Gwinnett County Public Schools in Georgia are adopting a new e-learning system from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as part of the district's multi-year education-technology initiative. The Pinpoint system allows educators to develop personalized learning plans for students based on data it compiles and tracks. "What we're trying to do is expand the walls of the classroom and foster collaboration and provide technological tools to students who have never known a world without technology," district spokeswoman Sloan Roach said.
