Apple is challenging Lenovo Group as the leading computer brand in China, according to a Morgan Stanley survey of more than 1,500 consumers in 16 Chinese cities. The survey found that while only 5% of respondents currently own an Apple product, 21% plan to select the Apple brand for their next computer purchase, compared with 23% choosing Lenovo. Among potential purchasers of laptops, Apple led Lenovo, 22% to 21%.
