U.S. consumers will spend between $80 million and $100 million on daily deals at Groupon, LivingSocial and other sites this holiday season, up from $15 million to $20 million a year ago, according to daily-deal aggregator Yipit. "Because of daily deals, holiday gifts aren’t limited to physical goods anymore. Now you can buy family and friends fun dining experiences, classes and services no matter where they live," said Yipit co-founder Jim Moran.
