The Nahwitti wind farm in British Columbia secured an approval certificate from the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency, though it came with several conditions. Nomis Power is expected to install about 50 turbines with a total capacity of 100 megawatts. Among the conditions are setting up an erosion-control plan and conforming to rules imposed by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
