Danish researchers found that young women who eat fish with high omega-3 fatty acids are significantly less likely to develop cardiovascular diseases. The study involving 49,000 pregnant women between 1996 and 2008 showed that those who never ate fish had 50% more heart problems than women who frequently ate fish, and were 90% more likely to develop cardiovascular illnesses than women who ate fish weekly.
