Many markets started off with e-mail lists, but have now progressed to using branded websites, social media channels and QR codes to engage their customers. Going digital "has helped us tell our story, build a tribe and do it for free," says Winter Caplanson of Connecticut's Coventry Regional Farmers' Market.
