Educators at an Ontario, Canada, secondary school are crediting students' improvement in maths, at least in part, to a new software program that provides immediate feedback to their teacher. The technology, which operates similarly to a SmartBoard, allows students to respond to questions using remote-control clickers. "[The students] are really driving the car", said applied maths teacher Derrick Driscoll. "I'm helping them steer. That's really looking at performance: Where do I need to go? And that's really wherever they take me".
