TransCanada President and CEO Russ Girling said he doesn't want to intervene in the clash among U.S. lawmakers about accelerating the final ruling for the Keystone XL pipeline and is instead focused on developing the project. TransCanada was disappointed with the State Department's decision to delay approval for the project, but Girling said the company is OK working within the new schedule. "Certainly we would like that to move as fast as possible. But our job is to do it as thoroughly as is required, and to do it right," he said.
