Public-procurement restrictions will likely prompt CEZ to scale back its public tender for the expansion of the Temelin nuclear plant in the Czech Republic, a spokesman said. CEZ is likely to abandon plans to construct three new reactors at the facility in addition to two proposed units. "The public tender is for two plus three, but of course with the legal change it can hardly be expected that the option could be used," said CEZ spokesman Ladislav Kriz.
