HTML5 video is all grown up, according to a report from LongTail Video. The format is now supported by two-thirds of all browsers, and is capable of fully replacing Flash for many users -- although that doesn't mean advertisers can afford to completely jettison Flash videos. "[F]or all the bright points in the report, there is clearly still a need for Flash fallbacks if you want your video to reach the widest possible audience," notes Scott Gilbertson.
