Fast-food chains such as McDonald's and Chick-fil-A have announced changes to their menus that are intended to help children eat healthier. However, nutrition experts say the changes -- which include adding apple slices to Happy Meals -- are only a small step and not enough to improve children's overall health. In Delaware, where 40% of children are at an unhealthy weight, the supervisor of child-nutrition services in one school district says variety can encourage students to eat more healthy foods.
