Google has partnered with the World Bank to help governments gain access to Google Map Maker data. "World Bank partner organizations, which include government and United Nations agencies, will be able to contact World Bank offices for possible access to the Google Map Maker data for their various projects," a blog post from Google states. According to Google, the initiative is designed to help in the event of disasters and for planning purposes, but some questions remain.
