Teachers spend most of their time in the classroom with students and comparatively little with their peers, which can lead to feelings of isolation, writes Rebecca Alber. To increase connections with fellow educators, Alber suggests teachers eat lunch together, or conduct lessons or activities with another class. Teachers also can attend a class, film or workshop with a colleague, Alber writes.
