Investment firm Manning Napier, the third-largest shareholder of US Airways, has been buying more shares as the carrier trims capacity. "Capacity reductions are giving airlines pricing power that is surprising to a lot of people right now," said Rob Pickels, industrials analyst at Manning Napier. The firm held 5.2% of US Airways stock as of Oct. 1.
