A bill to be proposed this week would require the Transportation Security Administration to staff all major U.S. airports with passenger advocates and to provide agents with additional dispute resolution training. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., is sponsoring the Restoring Integrity and Good Heartedness in Traveler Screening Act. "Passengers who feel their rights are about to be violated have nowhere to turn," he said. "The RIGHTS act helps give a voice to those who feel they are being inappropriately treated." The legislation would also require the TSA to post signs informing travelers of their rights.
