A $1.89 million grant will be used to help Jewish day schools in the Boston area better serve students with disabilities. Six of the area's 13 day schools will be chosen to receive grant funding, which will be used to create new teacher-training programs and educational models that can be replicated at other schools. "Certainly there are boundaries to what you can manage, but I think there's a really wide range of children who could be better accommodated," said Behzad Dayanim, head of school at one campus that plans to apply for grant funding.
